Murphy's Law, like gravity is a force that's hard to overcome. We started experiencing weirdness with our email throughput on Monday, while our crack IT manager was on a well-deserved vacation exploring the jungles of Costa Rica. We were finally able to get in touch with him. He found an internet cafe, hijacked their router to connect his notebook and made everything right again. Coincidentally, the last time I was in an Internet Cafe was in the jungles of Costa Rica, near Arenal Volcano. Did he get a chance to go rafting and see the monkeys, etc.?
I hope so. We'll find out when he gets back in the office Monday. Stay tuned.
I didn't have a chance to visit the Arenal Volcano though it was on the list. I did do a bit of snorkeling and hiking in the Drake Bay and Monte Verde areas. I must have had monkey repellant on by accident because I didn't see even one; plenty of other animals though. It is a beautiful country despite the insects of monstrous proportion.
